[Ferro-Alloys.com] In recent period, manganese rich slag in south area of China kept falling with RMB960/mt without tax for Mn32% inYongzhou of Hunan. Manganese rich slag Mn32% was lowered by RMB50/mt from last month to RMB920/mt in Moyang area. In Guangxi, Mn30% was dropped to RMB920/mt from RMB 960/mt in Qinzhou area while RMB930/mt from RMB950/mt in Laibin area. In fact, there were about RMB20-40/mt downtrend for manganes rich slag in most areas in south places  As sluggish demand, the opertation rates for manganes rich slag remained at low level. What’s more, some producers can only choose cheaper non-mainstream manganese ore to sustain normal running in order to control production cost.

In short, as poor performance for manganese alloys, it is estimated that manganes rich slag may also trapped into worse situation in the near future.
