As some low Al and high-purity ferrosilicon producers said, steel mills kept flat or slight increased the special ferrosilicon purchase prices. These ferrosilicon producers kept normal production and flat quotations. In September, Ningxia-based ferrosilicon producers were seen with new operation of furnaces, such as Ningxia Tianjing Metallurgical Co., Ltd and Ningxia Dazhengweiye Metallurgical Co., Ltd. Then the capacity and output of ferrosilicon were to expand in China’s Ningxia Hui Region.
