Big amount of materials were available in Europe, so the producers and traders positively sold materials to decrease stock. By contrast, the operation rate of steel mills was too low, leading to low buying intention of buyers.
A Liaoning exporter reported transaction price of moly oxide at USD10.8/lbMo. Inquiry price of moly oxide was lower than their expectations, so no business was concluded. With the upcoming the National Day holidays, Chinese exporters exit the market, less deal will worsen the current situation.
European FeMo price slipped to USD27-27.5/kgMo, USD1/kgMo less than last week. Participants reported something of s panic among sellers.
