Mr Lu Caiyuan-Secretary General of Shanxi Ferroalloys Industry Association delivered an excellent speech at the 5th MnCrNi & Stainless Steel International Conference hosted by Ferro-Alloys.com. Mr Lu further mentioned the current ferroalloy output of Shanxi province stood at 1.2 million tons, of which Cr alloys accounted for 45%, Mn alloys accounted for 50% and tSi & Ni alloys shared the res. There were totally 69 submerged arc furnaces (1,060,000 KVA), 12 refining furnaces (18,000 KVA) and 4 blast furnaces, indicating total of 1,200,000KVA).
