[Ferro-alloys.com] Latest statistics of Norway showed exports of Norway ferrosilicon were 24,567 mt in September 2014, registering slight decrease of 4.7% from 25,788 mt in August 2014 and an increase of 7.35% from 22,884 mt in September 2013.

In September 2014 Norway ferrosilicon was mainly exported to Belgium 6,112 mt Germany 5,419 mt, the Netherlands 3,852 mt, the UK 2,325 mt, Spain 1,869 mt and Finland 1,733 mt. In August 2014 the major importers of Norway ferrosilicon were Germany 11,225 mt, the Netherlands 4,753 mt, Belgium 3,210 mt, Finland 2,114 mt and the UK 1,016 mt. Thus we could see exports of Septermber Norway ferrosilicon greatly declined to Germany, followed by the Netherlands and Finland, but increased to Belgium, Spain and the UK.

In Q1 to Q3 of 2014 total exports of Norway ferrosilicon reached 205,991mt, increasing by 13.5% from 181,420 mt of the same period of 2013.
