Under such affect, it is predicted that alloy operation rates in south areas would likely to keep declining as producers suffered increasing cost from power price.
Currently, Australian Mn46 lumps are currently focused on RMB33.5-34.5/mtu andRMB33-34/mtu for Mn48 sand ore. South African Mn38 lumps are pricing at RMB29-30/mtu while RMB32-33/mtu for Mn32%Fe20%. Gabonese Mn 45-46 lumps are now lingered about RMB31-31.5/mtu while RMB30-31/mtu for Brazilian Mn 44-45 lumps.
In general, overall demand for manganese ore is relatively stable despite cutting output for alloys in south. Since price for manganese alloys stll touched the bottom line, underperformed market would in turn exert negative effect on ore makrt in the future.
