Australian Mn46 lumps are currently focused on RMB33.5-34.5/mtu andRMB33-34/mtu for Mn48 sand ore. South African Mn38 lumps are pricing at RMB29-30/mtu while RMB32-33/mtu for Mn32%Fe20%. Gabonese Mn 45-46 lumps are now lingered about RMB31.5-32.5/mtu while RMB30-31/mtu for Brazilian Mn 44-45 lumps.
As for the performance of Australian lump ore, most partcicipants in China believed that the new round quotation of BHP to China would be likely to level off, for less interest in importing from traders as higher price. In terms of South African lump, massive supply at ports during October did exert negative effect on sale albeit huge demand in China. It is estimated that oversea miners would tend to edge down new round quotation for parts of traders’ eyes given comparatively sufficient spot supply.
For Gabonese manganese lump ore, it is still holding firm at Tianjin port in China with around RMB32-33/mtu since most of the supply in hands of manganese alloy producers rather than ore taders in China. In view of Brazilian manganese lump, Mn 45 lumps.is concentrated on RMB30-31/mtu. Meanwhile, as falling operation rates for alloy factories in south areas, demand for ore is also on the decrease. As for Malaysian lump ore, it is more popular in south area than north area as the number for 6014 factories and small scale 6517 companies in south much more than north.
