It was analyzed that this PMI showed downturn of steel market was worse and downstream demand was weaker. Export increased rapidly but as trade friction happened frequently, sales pressure of steel companies surged. For seasonal reasons, downstream purchase decreased and cost support from iron ore market weakened, so there was still some room for steel price to drop in the near future.
