According to the investigation of www.ferro-alloys.com, in Shanxi and Henan Province, the major producing areas of calcium metal, mainstream ex-work price of Ca98%，0-2mm calcium granule decreased from RMB 20000/mt (USD3226/mt) to RMB 19,000/mt (USD3065/mt) recently. More calcium manufacturers resumed production and some new raw calcium capacity was put into production. Spot supply was abundant but downstream demand was weak, so market price continued to fell amid oversupply.
