As for medium carbon ferromanganese, price of 75C2.0 lingers about RMB7,400-7,500/mt in Hunan and Guizhou for P ≤0.4 and RMB7,900-8,000/mt in Ningbo area for P≤0.25. In terms of low carbon ferromanganese, limit supply seems to bring about enough cushions on spot market.

In general, higher cost of ferromanganese for some areas allows some producers to put off recovering production, but reducing spot supply still fails to push up sale given poor performance of steelmakers. It is predicted that ferromanganese would be still flat in the near future because of lacking positive factors.
