The prices of 99.7% electrolytic manganese flakes in China decreased from RMB11,900-12,100 /ton to RMB11,600-11,700 /ton, and some prices from parts of small enterprises and traders even decreased to RMB11,400-11,500 /ton.

Production cost:The price of selenium dioxide also decreased. 98% selenium dioxide decreased from RMB235/kg to RMB205-210/kg. Because of the inventory of downstream enterprises, delayed purchasing season and the low price, some enterprises purchased raw materials strictly more and more.

Export：In fact, not only the domestic depressed market and the price of EMM, but also international currency exchange rate influenced the export market. The export price in the port of Huangpu decreased from USD2020-2060/mt to USD1850-1900/mt  by the end of March , while from MB, the price of EMM from Rotterdam warehouse decreased from USD2040-2075/mt at the end of February to USD2010-2065/mt at the end of March.

According to customs data: In Feb,2015, China exported manganese and its products 31,488.033 tons, 65,665,926 U.S. dollars in all, compared with the last month, both of them decreased. At the same time, Russia was one of the largest export counties of China in February, exported 7,398 tons manganese, and increased sequentially M-O-M.

Forecasting: From the steel purchasing, the bidding price of manganese from Wuhan Iron and Steel Group in April is RMB12,800/ton, fall RMB300 /ton and 1200 tons. In the future, more and more companies release production capacity of EMM gradually, the EMM market does not look good at all.
