Up to now, some steel mills already released August purchase on ferrosilicon with more or less RMB100/mt downtrend generally which basically in line with our initial anticipation. Recently, ex-work of ferrosilicon 75# lingered about RMB5,100/mt while RMB4,800/mt for 72#, upper and lower floating around RMB50-100/mt.

In terms of mills purchase, some producers have little intention to cooperation with steel mills given extend payment and strict requirement on element index into consideration.

As for export market, price of ferrosilicon 75 tumbled at USD1,230-1,250/mt fob while USD1,210-1,230/mt for 72#.

As review troops approaching, environmental protection pressure surrounding Beijing will cause increasing steel mills cut output or shutdown, given that into consideration, it is estimated that performance of ferrosilicon in August would be not optimistic.
