[Ferro-Alloys.com] Qinghai Baitong High Purity Materials Development Co.,ltd has closed its 30,000KVA calcium silicon furnace for maintenance in August. It would take about 3 months to finish the maintenance.

The furnace has worked for a whole year since it was started in end of July, 2014. Generally, the calcium silicon furnace should be closed for maintenance after 9 or 10 months work.

It is reported the capability of this furnace is annually 13,000 tons, and the actual production per month is about 1,000 tons.
