According to statistics showed in August of this year, Japan’s steel exports totaled 39,218 tons. During the first eight months of this year, Japan exported 306,596 tons, export price was FOB US$438.52/ton).
Main export countries included, Japan exported 28,995 tons of steel rebar to Korea. During January-August, Japan exported 68,682 tons of steel rebar to Korea. Followed by the United States of 9626 tons, during January-August Japan exported 199,450 tons of steel rebar to the United States.
