[Fellow][Ferro-Alloys.com] Domestic nickel ore price held at steady while outer disc ore shed a little. In home market, low-grade nickel ore 0.9-1.1% quoted at 140-160yuan/wt; mid-grade nickel ore 1.5% priced at 240-260yuan/wt; high-grade nickel ore 1.8% traded at 400...

[Ferro-Alloys.com] Domestic nickel ore price held at steady while outer disc ore shed a little. In home market, low-grade nickel ore 0.9-1.1% quoted at 140-160yuan/wt; mid-grade nickel ore 1.5% priced at 240-260yuan/wt; high-grade nickel ore 1.8% traded at 400-420yuan/wt. In the outer market, low-grade nickel ore 0.9-1.1% quoted at 16-18 dollars per wet tone; mid-grade nickel ore 1.5% transacted at 29-31 dollars per wet tone, shed 1 dollar compared to the previous week; high-grade nickel ore 1.8% decreased to 48-49 dollars per wet tone, down 2 dollars compared to the previous week.

London nickel price has been rebounded a little, but there is no new guiding price to follow up by the market. Most of ferrous nickel makers hesitated to make sales and the willingness to shut down the machines never end up when nickel price hit decade low in last week. Obviously, investors did not prepare to stock too much nickel ore at warehouse when the market plunged into a downtrend. It’s said that the high-grade ferrous nickel seems to shrunk to 50yuan/ni which indirectly weighs on nickel ore market.
