China  is used to export  1.2 million tons of ferro silicon from Tianjin before end of 2006, when or after Jan 1,2007, China imposed 27% export tax to limit the export volume and control the fast development of  ferro siicon production. but the reality is that the export volume from Chinese port has been dropped significantly and from South Border with Vietnam ,there occured window illegally and 70% more or less of ferro silicon  transhipped from there and spread the world market.

This Rock hit may stop the smugglers and Ferro silicon export from Chinese port will be normal increased and will regulate the market.

But due to high export tax ,FeSi from China is no longer competative than Russia and Malysia, and China already losed the market of fesi i n the world.
