[www.ferro-alloys.com] China’s Baosteel announced to adjust down its heavy plate futures prices in August this year. The heavy plate prices on the basis of wide heavy steel plate, boiler plate, container plate, ship plate prices decline of RMB300/ton.
Currently, Q235A heavy plate with thickness of 14-20mm prices are at RMB2750/ton; those for Q345A low alloy plate with thickness of 14-20mm list price is RMB2900/ton; Q245R boiler container plate with thickness of 14-20mm list price is RMB2850/ton. Above are not tax-included pricing, effective immediately since August 1, 2016.
