Currently, price including VAT of piece of vanadium 98% in China is at RMB 93,000 to RMB 95,000/MT, in the same level with the last week; price including VAT of vanadium-nitrogen alloy is at RMB 148,000 to RMB 155,000/MT, in the same level with the last week; main offer including VAT of ferro-vanadium is at RMB 99,000 to RMB 101,000/MT, risen by RMB 1,000 compared to last week.

Because offer of Ansteel is obviously lower than the average price this week, offers of ferrovanadium and vanadium-nitrogen alloy rises to a larger extent, offer of Ferro vanadium 50% is RMB 101,000/MT (acceptance including VAT), risen by RMB 3,000 compared to last week; offer of ferro-vanadium alloy VN16 is RMB 153,000/MT (acceptance including VAT), risen by RMB 5,000 compared to last week.

Bid inviting price of Ferro vanadium 50% of Taiyuan Iron is RMB 98,800/MT (acceptance including VAT), risen by 10.6% month on month compared to its bid inviting price of RMB 89,300/MT of April. Bid inviting price of 165 tons ferro-vanadium alloy of ZENITH of May is RMB 151,000/MT (acceptance including VAT), having a slight drop compared to the high price of bid inviting of May in the earlier time.     

At the beginning of May, spot goods of piece of vanadium enterprise is still less, quantity of spot goods of other raw material products like vanadium powder and sodium metavanadate is still not large. Recently, enquiry and purchase of vanadium slag also increase; although producers have the purchasing willness, purchasing the raw material with a low price is more difficult. Under the continuous process of inspection of environmental protection nationwide, in a short time, tense supply of vanadium raw material is difficult to improve, and the vanadium market may run at a high position.
