Nickle iron

In January, the production of nickle iron is 36,900 tons. It increase 7.59% in the same period last year. Compared to the last month, it decreases 8.6%.

In January, the production of the high nickle iron and low nickle iron declines compared to the December last year. The main reason is that the domestic large smelter need to be repaired. Besides, the cold weather in northern area reduce the production. What’s more, parts of the plants that product both nickle iron and stainless steel reduce the production because of the decline of the steel-making production. It mainly affects low nickle iron production.
