Print[Ferro-Alloys.com] Since the major stainless steel plants had finished purchasing ferronickel in the early August, ferronickel market face downturn in China.
In the middle of August, ferronickel (1.6-1.8%) ex-work price is RMB3,100-3,200/mt, 4-8% is RMB1,210-1,240/Ni, 10-15% is RMB1,160-1,170/Ni.
Recently, LME ferronickel market still faces downturn; domestic ferronickel price also has decreased. Since the stainless steel plants seem not quite optimistic, it is predicted that the steel plants’ ferronickel purchasing price could decrease next month.
