Vladislav Gasumyanov has been appointed Nornickel’s Senior Vice President. In his new capacity, he will deal with the development of strategic partnerships and projects.

Dmitry Pristanskov has been appointed State Secretary, Vice President and Head of GR at Nornickel. In this role, he will focus on promoting the Company’s relations with federal and regional authorities.

Vladislav Gasumyanov graduated from the Kiev Civil Aviation Engineering Institute and the North-West Academy of Public Administration and holds a Doctoral Degree in Economics. He joined Nornickel in 2012 and became a member of the Management Board in 2014. Since June 2018, he has been serving as State Secretary, Vice President and Head of GR. Before that, he was appointed Vice President and Head of Corporate Security in 2015. Since 2017, he has been holding the Chair of Corporate Security at the MGIMO University, Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since 2017, he has been on the Board of Directors at Norilsk Nickel Africa (Pty) Ltd and Norilsk Nickel Mauritius as well as the Executive Committee at Nkomati.

Dmitry Pristanskov graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law of St Petersburg University, received a PhD degree in Law and completed the Finance and Credit Programme at the International Banking Institute. In 2016–2018, Dmitry served as Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and Head of the Federal Agency for State Property Management. In 2014–2016, he was Director for Federal and Regional Programmes at Nornickel. In 2005–2014, he held various positions with the Federal Agency for State Property Management working his way to the position of the Agency’s Deputy Head. In 2001–2005, he worked for a number of commercial organisations. In 1999–2001, he served as Prosecutor Assistant at the Vybogrsky District, St Petersburg, and then as Prosecutor responsible for overseeing the legitimacy of civil judgements at the Leningrad Region Prosecutor’s Office. He is on the Board of Directors at Sheremetyevo International Airport and the Supervisory Board at Russian Agricultural Bank.
