 [Ferro-Alloys.com] The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) reported that for the month of September 2019, U.S. steel mills shipped 7,767,310 net tons, a 8.3 percent decrease from the 8,472,088 net tons shipped in the previous month, August 2019, and a 0.6 percent decrease from the 7,811,745 net tons shipped in September 2018.
