Print[ferro-alloys.com]Due to political conflict in Middle East, the gold price kept on rising. The index of U.S dollar went down. Relatively, the price of LME nickel kept on rising. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 13910 USD/T. It was 100 USD/T higher than the price on last trading day. Due to rising of LME nickel price, the price of future nickel rose up in domestic market today. The trading volume was less. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 2002 contract, the premium of Russian nickel was from 200 to 300 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 6000-6500 RMB/T.Today, Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 114000 RMB/T. It was 1200 higher than the price yesterday.
The stainless steel market was in downturn. The demand for ferronickel was insufficient. Some plants halted their production for overhaul. The ferronickel price remained in lower level.Today，the mainstream of high grade ferronickel was 960-970 RMB/Nickel point, and the price of low grade ferronickel was 3300-3450 RMB/T.
