Print[ferro-alloys.com]Due to fall of crude oil price, the price of nonferrous metal dropped down. By the end of trading, LME nickel was quoted at 12140 USD/T. It dropped down by 210 USD/T. Due to insufficient demand from downstream industry, the trading volume was still less in domestic market of Shanghai future nickel. Compared with Shanghai future nickel 2007 contract, the discount of Russian nickel was from 150 to 200 RMB/T, and the premium of Jinchuan nickel was 1100-1200 RMB/T. Jinchuan quoted its electrolytic nickel at 101300 RMB/T. It was the same as the price on last trading day.
The stainless-steel market was stable, so was the ferronickel market. Today, the mainstream price of high-grade ferronickel was 970-990 RMB/Nickel, and the price of low-grade ferronickel was 3300-3450 RMB/T.
