Print[Ferro-Alloys.com]According to data released by UK-based CRU, the global crude stainless steel production totaled around 34.20 million tons in 2012, up by 2.5% year on year.
Among them, 7.418 million tons were from Western Europe, down by 1.6%; 2.45 million tons were from American region, decreasing by 1.2%; 23.46 million tons were from Asia, up by 3.7% and 525,000 tons were from South Africa, increasing by 18.2%, all compared to those in the same period of a year ago.
