Among them, 36000 tons were imported from South Africa, a decrease of 98500 tons or 73.23% on a month on month basis; a year-on-year decrease of 80400 tons or 69.1%. China imported 56300 tons of high carbon ferrochrome from Kazakhstan, a month on month increase of 36100 tons, an increase of 178.36%; a year-on-year decrease of 17800 tons or 24.07%.

 

From January to June 2021, China's total import volume of high carbon ferrochrome was 1.5696 million tons, with a year-on-year increase of 57700 tons or 3.82%. Among them, China's total import of chromium ore from South Africa was 781520 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 57180 tons or 6.82%.
