According to data of National Bureau of Statistics, in October 2021, China's average daily output of crude steel was 2.309 million tons, down 6.1% month on month; The average daily output of pig iron was 2.033 million tons, down 6.4% month on month; The average daily output of steel was 3.282 million tons, down 3.4% month on month.
In October, China's crude steel output was 71.58 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 23.3%; The output of pig iron was 63.03 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 19.4%; The steel output was 101.74 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 14.9%.
From January to October, the crude steel output was 877.05 million tons, a slight decrease of 0.7% year-on-year; The output of pig iron was 734.07 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.2%; Steel output was 1122.35 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.8%.
