Print[Ferro-Alloys.com] China exported 168,418 tonne of stainless steel products in February this year, down 16.575% from the January volume, affected by the Chinese New Year holiday, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.
China’s exports of stainless flat steel in the given month amounted to 133,837 tonne, decreasing by 8.5% year on year. In February, China’s exports of stainless flat steel to Taiwan totaled 50,093 tonne, up 1.2% while its stainless flat steel exports to South Korea amounted to 29,489 tonne up by 1.4% both year on year.
Meanwhile, China’s overall stainless steel imports in February totaled 49,579 tonne down 17.111% from the January volume.
