The current week production represents a 0.1 percent increase from the same period in the previous year. Production for the week ending March 5, 2022 is up 0.4 percent from the previous week ending February 26, 2022 when production was 1,755,000 net tons and the rate of capability utilization was 79.7 percent.

 

Adjusted year-to-date production through March 5, 2022 was 16,324,000 net tons, at a capability utilization rate of 81.1 percent. That is up 2.6 percent from the 15,913,000 net tons during the same period last year, when the capability utilization rate was 76.8 percent.
