According to the statistical data of Trade Statistics of Japan, in January 2022, Japan imported 35079.133 tons of ferrosilicon (containing by weight more than 55% of silicon), a year-on-year increase of 47.79% and a month on month decrease of 27.35%. Among them, 10070.969 tons were imported from China, accounting for 28.71%.
