According to the statistical data of Trade Statistics of Japan, in August 2022, Japan imported 39791.863 tons of ferrosilicon (containing by weight more than 55% of silicon), an increase of 17.52% month on month and 1.97% year on year. Among them, 10660.616 tons were imported from Russia, accounting for 26.79%; 10603.387 tons were imported from Malaysia, accounting for 26.65%; 9800.86 tons were imported from China, accounting for 24.63%.
