According to the statistical data of Trade Statistics of Japan, from January to August 2022, Japan imported 289253.617 tons of ferrosilicon (containing by weight more than 55% of silicon), a year-on-year increase of 4.85%. Of which, 86686.769 tons were imported from China, accounting for 29.97%; 77908.409 tons were imported from Russia, accounting for 26.93%; 49951.115 tons were imported from Malaysia, accounting for 17.27%.
