Hyundai Steel is at the forefront of the development of a new range of structural steel used across the construction field.  Hyundai Steel first launched Korea’s first seizmic structural steel under the H CORE brand in 2017, in an effort to reduce loss of life and property due to the collapse of buildings during earthquakes. H CORE is high-strength, impact resistant and corrosion resistant. 

 Compared to general purpose steel, high-strength products have about 20 to 30 percent higher strength, insuring better structural stability. Impact-resistant steel can be used safely even in coldest regions due to its ability to absorb energy without breaking in the cold.  Corrosion-resistant products maintain their original performance without being corroded by heavy rain or wet conditions.  Hyundai Steel has opened a website as part of the H CORE rebrand, offering information about the features and products available under H CORE. To emphasize the safety of H CORE, the highest quality steel available, Hyundai Steel also released a slogan; “Safety planted, Security H CORE.”
