Ferro-Alloys.com Breaking News: Tisco, the largest state-owned Ssteel Company confirmed the purchase price of ferro chrome h/c for April delivery, at RMB8595/mt DAW ( Delivery to Warehouse of steel), payable around 60-90days check,that is 600yuan/mt lower than the price in March, and the required quantity also decreased. that price is equal to usd0.95/lb cr cif Chinese port.(exchange rate: 1:6.90).

On March 31, Thingshan Group, the largest Ssteel Private company , confirmed their tender price for April Delivery at RMB8795/Mt ,50% chrome basis, Dropped 600yuan/mt MoM. 

  Comment: Even the prce of SSteel is going up this week, and cannot stop the price of FeCr going down.  Why the price of FeCr went down in April ? if we consider the supply quntity of Fecr HC both from local producers and imported , the supply quantity was increased, but the demands of Fecr from ssteel plants have been decreasing. The supply surplus the demands, which it is the main reason to force down the price of Ferro chrome.
