Referring to the overcapacity of the stainless steel, Mr Lee said modest surplus was better than shortage, as in the past China had to buy the stainless steel products from abroad for the shortage of domestic market, and therefore the economy was restricted to the foreign market. so the government should let this industry develop in accordance with the market laws other than released strict policies to control. For the development of later market, he said, in the next few years, the stainless steel market would continue to keep the growth trend, and the demand for ferroalloys of the stainless steel would be a new level.
