Print[Ferro-Alloys.com]On the 10th China Ferro-Alloys International Conference, Mr Cao Wenquan, the chief representative of Etikrom Group in Beijing said the total export volume of chrome ores to China from Etikrom was 550,000 tons and it was expected that the export volume would increase to 650,000 tons.
When referred to the Chinese ferroalloys prospect, Mr Cao said, the total crude steel production of China accounting for 43% of the total, and the Chinese ferroalloys output was 44% of the global, so the development of Chinese ferroalloys industry played an essential role in the world.
For the expectation of the chrome ores price, Mr Cao said, the price would drop in short term while keep the increase trend in the long term. In 2012, the chrome ores price decreased to USD$ 235-285/mt, and it would maintain at USD$ 260-300/mt.
