On April 8, ferrosilicon futures closed higher in daytime trading at the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE). The most active ferrosilicon contract for May 2024 delivery closed at 6542 yuan per tonne.

The total trading volume of 2405 contract on the exchange was 90081 lots, with a turnover of about 2933.4261 million yuan.

The number of warehouse receipts was 13031 (65155 tons), and 449 (2245 tons) were valid for the number of warehouse orders.

The top 20 positions increased and decreased variously; The holding of buying positions is less than the holding of selling positions.
