We learnt about that the equipment was the one of three big equipments which were used for the project containing aceyllene, carbon monoxide and desulfurizer. There were 6 81000KVA furnaces to be built in the first stage. They would produce 750,000 tons of calcium carbide. the core technology and equipment was offered by the SIEMAG and the single furnace had the biggest installed capacity in China.
