Print[ferro-alloys.com]Zhangjiagang Pohang Stainless Steel (ZPSS) has raised its high carbon ferro-chrome purchase price this week above the levels set by major Chinese stainless steel mills for August, according to market participants.
The weekly purchase price from the mill was at 7,000 yuan ($1,136) per tonne, including delivery and payment all in cash, according to market sources. The price is100 yuan higher than last week’s level and equivalent to 86 cents per lb. Metal Bulletin’s charge chrome index cif Shanghai was at 85 cents last week.
