[Fellow]US Imports of FeSi from Russia drop

US imports of 55-80% ferrosilicon in the first seven months of 2013 were 106,419 mt and 8,915 mt in July vs. 147,596 mt and 2,470 mt, respectively, in the same 2012 periods. Major importers in July (first seven months in parentheses) were: Venezuela, 6,200 mt (19,621 mt); China, 1,059 mt (15,824 mt) and Canada, 877 mt (7,416 mt). There were no Russian imports in July, whereas total 2013 imports were 54,689 mt.
