Print[Ferro-Alloys.com] Recently, the prices of hot rolled coils (HRC) in the international market seem to reach the bottom level and the current quotes are at about US$610~US$630/ton CFR.
Since late June, the HRC price went down all the way from US$650/ton CFR to US$600/ton CFR and it even dropped to US$580/ton CFR.
Affected by the Russian cheap offer, some Asian mills even offered HRC quoted at US$550/ton FOB to Middle East.
However, the HRC prices may not dip further as the Chinese steelmakers have faced profit loss due to rising raw material costs.
